English Bullie owner's how hard is it to find a bullie marked like this?
Ok so my husband and i have a red and white bullie and for our 2nd bullie we would like a dark brindle. I don’t see these bullies very often are they hard to find? I have an example of what we’re looking for here.

This beautiful girl is owned by one of my fellow bullie friends at www.bulldogsworld.com and she is a cutie. I want one similar to this in markings. Would it be hard to find? Should i just find a good,reputable breeder with bullies with these markings and reserve a pup from one of their next litters? Would most good breeders be ok with wanting a bullie of a certain color? We will not be breeding btw, just want another bullie pet for our household. Our boy Dozer is already neutered and is the sweetest thing on 4 legs. We want to get a lil sister for him, a house full of bullies is ideal for us.
Well Paula the only problem is i have applied tobullie rescue and they won’t allow me to take in a rescue because i currently don’thave a fenced yard and we live near a body of water that is accessible to my dogs if they got out and ran loose. Even though my current bullie is indoors 24/7 except for bathroom breaks they won’t consider me for bullie rescue til i meet all their requirments.Which i understand but it stinks becaus ei take good care ofmy bullie and i watch them like a hawk.
Petstore i am aware of all the breed standards and regurgitating the AKC breed standard and coat colors tome is pointless. I know the dog is mor eimpotant than the coat color. But i love bullies and i want a dark brindle. Now obviously if i found a dark brindle that had a less than pleasant temperment i wouldn’t take it i would hold out for one with a good personality,duh!!
I am more than familiar with the BCA rules and requirments, that’s where i applied to be a bulldog rescuer and was not considered because my home doesn’t meet all of their requirments. So unfortunatley i will have to buy my dog if i want one.
a breeder would not be bothered if you wanted a certain colour. Do you know that there are rescue sites for english bulldogs, you sound like a caring person why not just rescue one whatever the colour especially if you want a companion for your other dog. I have 2 rescue english bull terriers one is white the other is dark brindle..So you may still find what you want…

look for local breeders or clubs online. we had a pure white male and got a crazy brindle female to keep him company.they looked hot together. u may get one cheap that doesnt have good "show" markings but still beautiful.

Why not look at your local animal shelter? Why is it so important to have a dog of a particular colour? Remember colour does not make the dog. Isn’t temperment more important to consider? and the temperment match you are your personality and character. A dog of the dark brindle colour maybe the perfect colour, but might be too outgoing or shy for your personality.

Coat and Skin
Coat–The coat should be straight, short, flat, close, of fine texture, smooth and glossy. (No fringe, feather or curl.) Skin–The skin should be soft and loose, especially at the head, neck and shoulders. Wrinkles and Dewlap–The head and face should be covered with heavy wrinkles, and at the throat, from jaw to chest, there should be two loose pendulous folds, forming the dewlap. Brindles are consider rare dog colourating.
Color of Coat
The color of coat should be uniform, pure of its kind and brilliant. The various colors found in the breed are to be preferred in the following order:
(1) red brindle,
(2) all other brindles,
(3) solid white,
(4) solid red, fawn or fallow,
(5) piebald,
(6) inferior qualities of all the foregoing. Note: A perfect piebald is preferable to a muddy brindle or defective solid color. Solid black is very undesirable, but not so objectionable if occurring to a moderate degree in piebald patches. The brindles to be perfect should have a fine, even and equal distribution of the composite colors. In brindles and solid colors a small white patch on the chest is not considered detrimental. In piebalds the color patches should be well defined, of pure color and symmetrically distributed.
Disqualification
Brown or liver-colored nose.
